Reaching the team final
Eight teams qualify for the team final. With China, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Spain still to compete on Sunday, the Dutch score will be tested. Several of those teams have been finalists before. Germany and Switzerland were both in the 2023 world team final.
They held on: after all six subdivisions the Netherlands were seventh and reached the team final in front of their home crowd in Ahoy. In the final on 20 October they again finished seventh, with 241.294.
Why it matters
Qualification for LA28 at these championships comes only through the team final. A place in the final would also give the Dutch team valuable experience of the format before the 2027 World Championships in Chengdu, where nine more Olympic team places are decided. See our LA28 qualification guide.
